Our Story
Dustin and I met becuase a friend and I had spent weeks working on our Halloween costumes, but the dance we were to attend was cancelled and we were stuck on the 4th floor of Luther by ourselves, all dressed up but nowhere to go. Most people had gone home for the weekend, but I called down to the 1st floor to see if there was anyone willing to come and entertain us.....I just happened to, by fate, dial Dustins number....To make a long story short, he and his friends came up to our floor, I thought he was cute and apparently he thought I was too, and we began dating a few days later. That May we were engaged! Do you want that story? OKay twist my rubber arm! I had been in the hospital with stomach pains like you would not believe so we could not go to the mountains like we had planned. Dustin came to Medicine Hat to see me in the hospital. After I got out we went to Bunny and Glens and Dustin proposed as I was in my pj's with messy hair, burning teh bacon and eggs! He got down on one knee (which made me laugh) and told me he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. I started crying and after a few minutes he asked " So will you?" I screamed yes, but later realized he thought the tears were tears of sadness not joy! O Dustin you are so silly!
