NEW CHEAP PRICES & BETTER TAKEOFF/RETURN POINT - Posted: 20 Mar, 2008

Thats right, we made a few changes:

1.) Instead of paying $1657.00 + $211.00 tax, you only pay $1657.00 including the tax. We made a new deal with our travel agent and apparently it's cheaper to leave from Regina or Saskatoon than Calgary, which leads to my next point.

2.) We will be leaving from Saskatoon or Regina, whichever is more convenient for you. Both flights leave around the same time on December 13th, 2008. The date has been pushed back a couple of days, but we thought this was worth the $211.00 in cash savings plush the gas and inconvencience of driving to Calgary. Our travel agent has probably already called you to ask where you would like to leave from, but if she hasn't, just give her a call and let her know: Melissa @ (306) 242-0505

Price is in! - Posted: 05 Mar, 2008

We got our price! Average price per person at this hotel runs for $2200.00/person. Our group rate price is $1657.00 + $211.00 tax. So we save about $550.00 per person.

Deposits Due - Posted: 05 Mar, 2008

Deposits ($250.00 per person) are due on the 19th of March. I know this is short notice, but we hear this resort fills very quickly so we had to book immediately in order to get a cheap group rate with guaranteed seats. If you don't think you can get the deposit in by this time, but you can get them in later (like a month or two after this date) feel free to try that anyway. They may or may not have seats left, but its worth a shot. To secure a deposit:

Call (306) 242-0505, Ask for Melissa, Ask to put a deposit down for Your Name and for the Knudsen-Millman wedding group in Cuba. Deposits must be submitted by credit card over the phone.

Hey guys, WE talked to our doc. and he said that everyone should have HepA and B shots. It is not that Cuba is unsafe, but when travelling to anywhere in the Carribean it is a good idea. Supposedly if you were born after 84 you should have gotten them in grade 8 at school, but its a good idea to check. To check, call your public health nurse in the city/town where you think you would have gotten them. Remember: You need one shot, then a month later another, and 5 months after that another. So dont wait too long...it takes 6 months total.
